RaveGeo Map Client SDK 

The RaveGeo Map Client is a light-weight mapping engine for desktops, web browsers and mobile devices. The Map Client for Java runs on versions from 1.1 (The old Microsoft VM), Personal Java, Java Micro edition (J2ME) and Java Standard Edition (J2SE). The RaveGeo Map Client for C++ is available for Windows desktop and mobile platforms.  There is a C# version for Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET Compact Framework.

The RaveGeo Map Client is an easy extendable map component with support for own custom objects. The RaveGeo Map Client reads RaveGeo data either from file or from the RaveGeo Server. The RaveGeo Map Client can also route and geocode when connected to a RaveGeo Server. The map appearance (layers, symbols, colors etc) is set in a XML file. 

The optional module Persistent Cache makes it possible to store received map data compressed at client side between sessions.
