Locago is a free mobile map browser with directions, GPS support and lots of content. Discover Wikipedia articles, Flickr images, weather forecasts, traffic info, events and more. Locago is built with RaveGeo MapClient SDK for Java ME.

PocketWAW

Download PocketWAW

PocketWAW is a GPS Moving Map software for Windows Mobile 5 and 6 devices developed by iMapping Ltd. PocketWAW is free to download with free online access to detailed New Zealand maps and a basic world map. Offline map data and online access to other datasets can be purchased. PocketWAW is powered by RaveGeo MapClient SDK for .NET Compact Framework.

RaveGeo WebMap

The following two examples shows how RaveGeo WebMap works. Map control and symbols for the cams are handled via the JavaScript API of WebMap. If Java is enabled the map will be a Java applet. Without Java the map will be tiled images instead. Both versions of the map share a common API. Use the buttons to switch between the versions.

RaveGeo Navigation Demo

This demo demonstrates the RaveGeo MapClient SDK for Java and vector, search and route module of RaveGeo Server. Map data is provided by Tele Atlas MultiNet database. The demo programs runs on most web browsers, but the latest Java VM from Sun is recommended. All data is streamed from www.idevio.com at port 80 using http.

Digita coverage maps

Digita, the leading distributor of radio and television services in Finland, shows the coverage of TV and radio in Finland a public web map service that is powered by RaveGeo. The new service is built by Logica, Idevio's partner in Finland. The maps includes transmitters, coverage areas and background maps. Everything streamed to the web browser using RaveGeo.

These demo applets demonstrates the RaveGeo MapClient SDK for Java. The map data comes from Delaware Spatial Framework, pilot to the US National Map,VMap0 from NGA and ENCs from NOAA. The demo programs runs on most web browsers, but the latest Java VM from Sun is recommended. The demo accesses data through our demo RaveGeo Server at www.idevio.com at port 80 using http.

Carmenta Engine demo

The Carmenta Engine demo is provided by Carmenta and shows how RaveGeo datasets can be used by the mapping toolkit Carmenta Engine.  The demos accesses data from a RaveGeo Server at www.idevio.com at port 80 using http.

To run the demos please open each file in SpaceExplorer. The demos requires Carmenta Engine to be installed, you may request an evaluation license from Carmenta here. Additionally you need to contact Carmenta and request an add-on that enables RaveGeo to run in the map.

Map data in the demos are VMap0 and VMap1 from NIMA and Delaware Spatial Framework, pilot to the US National Map.

RaveGeo is now also available for the ArcGIS product suite from ESRI. The RaveGeo ArcGIS Plugin enables ESRI users to roam very large vector datasets in real time. 

The plugin works excellent with all ArcGIS products version 8.3 and higher, including ArcReader, ArcMap, ArcScene and ArcGlobe. RaveGeo also works with ArcIMS and ArcGIS Engine for embedded GIS. The ArcReader can be downloaded for free at ESRI
