RaveGeo GIS plug-ins

There are many plug-ins available for reading and rendering data in RaveGeo format. Besides our own mapping engine RaveGeo MapClient there are plug-ins for a number of popular GIS vendors. When adding a plug-in to an existinging GIS the users benefit from the features of RaveGeo: fast rendering, streaming access and high compression.

RaveGeo MapClient is a light weight mapping engine in Java with support for custom objects. The MapClient can be used in mobile phones with MIDP support, web pages or in any application built with Java.

ESRI ArcGIS
ArcGIS by ESRI is an integrated collection of GIS software products. RaveGeo access is available in the ArcGIS product suite through a plug-in provided by Idevio. The plug-in enables RaveGeo in ArcReader, ArcMap, ArcScene and ArcGlobe. The plug-in also works with ArcIMS and with ArcGIS Engine for embedded GIS.

 Microstation Ravegeo/MSRG
InPlace Solutions has developed MSRG, a client-server solution for reading RaveGeo Data into Microstation. The MSRG plugin module enables import of RaveGeo maps to Bentley Microstation. The module is a typical client-server solution, which retrieves data online in the proper scale and extent from the area where you are working. The map is displayed in the background and you can publish your own vectors as a normal overlay.
