Product Review of RaveGeo in GeoWorld

Dr. W. Fredrick Limp reviews RaveGeo in the June edition of GeoWorld, the leading magazine in Geoinformatics. Dr. Limp pinpoints the strengths of RaveGeo: “Effective in compression (1:10 and 1:20) and distribution via the Web, and features fast display updates with little evident latency” and concludes “The examples provided in the online demos indicate that RaveGeo is a product to watch. Compression and distribution of vector data are significant and growing issues that will grow with wider use of wireless products and geospatial information.”.
